Goods Lift or Stacker? Which One is Right for Your Warehouse?
In multi-story or high-ceiling storage areas, transferring loads vertically is the most critical stage of the operation. At this point, businesses usually find themselves choosing between two main solutions: installing a fixed hydraulic goods lift or opting for a mobile stacker?

1. Space Flexibility and Mobility
Stacker: It is completely mobile. It can pick up a load from a rack at one end of the warehouse, transport it to the other end, and stack it vertically there. If your aisle width is suitable, you can manage the entire warehouse with a single machine.

Goods Lift: It has a fixed system. However, it is the safest and most effective way to transport tons of cargo vertically between building floors, mezzanines, or high platforms. It does not move horizontally and requires a fixed loading point.

2. Lifting Height and Tonnage Capacity
Stacker: Ideal for rack heights ranging from 1.6 meters up to 4.5 meters in standard models. It offers maximum efficiency generally with palletized loads between 1 and 2 tons.

Goods Lift: It can raise high weights such as 5 tons or 10 tons at once to mezzanines or directly to upper floors, without floor limits. It provides transition between building floors that stackers cannot reach.

3. Structural Permits and Installation Cost
Goods Lift: Since it is integrated into the building architecture, it may require pit excavation or external steel construction. The initial investment cost is higher, but it is unmatched in multi-story facilities.

Stacker: Does not require any construction or installation process. It can be integrated directly into the operation the moment it is purchased.
